A tour through the former Central Tejo, the 1908 thermoelectric power station that supplied Lisbon with electricity, featuring original machinery and the story of electricity's evolution towards renewable energies.

A tour through several spaces of the former Central Tejo, a thermoelectric power station built in 1908 that supplied the whole Lisbon region with electricity. Among original machinery in a perfect state of conservation, the story of this former factory is told, as well as the evolution of electricity up to renewable energies. Every day (except Tuesday), at 13h30 and 17h. Free visit upon presentation of a museum entrance ticket.
