A guided tour of the works in the Portuguese Presence in Asia exhibition, testimony to the intercultural dialogue between East and West opened up by the Portuguese routes, lasting 60 minutes.
First strangeness, then curiosity: these were the ingredients of the intercultural dialogue between East and West, which was reflected in the art of both hemispheres. Along the transatlantic routes established by the Portuguese, original themes and iconographic repertoires were introduced, worked by local artisans with their own techniques and materials.
