A four-session mini-course in which David Ferreira celebrates almost half a century of Sérgio Godinho's career through around 80 songs, covering his influences, characters, love songs and decisive stages. Sessions take place in October at Sala Lopes Graça: 7 € per session or 21 € for the four.
David Ferreira directed Portugal's largest Portuguese music label (EMI-Valentim de Carvalho) between 1983 and 2007, where he worked with major artists. He has authored radio programmes, mainly between 2011 and 2025: A Cena do Ódio, A Contar and A Contar Consigo; press articles; and compilations released on record. A researcher with a particular interest in the works of Amália Rodrigues and Jacques Brel and in the History of Popular Music, he has been preparing and presenting courses on the History of Popular Music since 2014.
