A Museum of Lisbon workshop inspired by TV cooking shows, where participants become chefs of Ancient Rome, exploring surprising ingredients, historical recipes and food curiosities from two thousand years ago. For children over 6 accompanied by an adult; sessions on 3 May, 9 August and 10 October at 10h30, €5 per participant.
Lights, cameras… and garum! The Museum of Lisbon invites the most curious to take part in a workshop inspired by the world of television shows, but with a very special touch: we are in Ancient Rome! What did the Romans eat? How did they cook without a stove? Were there snacks and desserts too? In this hands-on, creative experience, participants become true Roman chefs, exploring surprising ingredients, historical recipes and gastronomic curiosities from two thousand years ago. All of this with team spirit, creativity and a touch of showmanship! At the end, each apprentice takes home a 'Roman recipe book' to keep surprising everyone at home. It's time to put on the toga and step into this kitchen of the past! Activity aimed at children over 6 years old, accompanied by at least one adult.
