The themed visit begins with the crossing of the most iconic 19th-century hydraulic infrastructure, built with the purpose of carrying larger volumes of water to the city of Lisbon: the Aqueduto das Águas Livres. The route crosses the Galeria de Campo de Ourique and runs through the Amoreiras monumental complex, designed by the Hungarian architect Carlos Mardel. Conceived to celebrate the arrival of water in Lisbon, the hydraulic complex brings together the final reservoir, the Mãe d'Água das Amoreiras, the Arco Monumental das Amoreiras and the sequence of ten round arches that line the Praça das Amoreiras, in Lisbon. 120 min. Meeting point: Aqueduto das Águas Livres, Calçada da Quintinha, 6, Lisboa. End point: Reservatório da Mãe d'Água das Amoreiras, Praça das Amoreiras, 10, Lisboa. 12 € - ticketline.pt. +6.
