A new exhibition by Beatriz Narciso, winner of the first WAF grant, evokes the night as seen through a child's eyes through glowing colour and interplays of light and shadow.

Beatriz Narciso's new exhibition (winner of the first WAF grant) guides us back to childhood, a moment when the border between dream and reality is at its most permeable. With glowing colour and the interplay between light and shadow, the artist summons that mysterious and transgressive time of night as seen through the eyes of a child, an antechamber to the world of grown-ups where everything is allowed and possible.
