October is mental health month and the project There's Music at the End of the Tunnel moves into its 6th edition with 49 showcases, two free-entry Solidarity Galas and a programme that, between 9 and 30 October, once again crosses music, culture and mental health awareness. Over three weeks, the initiative passes through Algés, Oeiras, Amadora, Lisbon, Aveiro, Porto, Braga and Barcelos, turning railway and metro stations into stages and taking music directly to spaces through which thousands of people pass every day. In Lisbon, the initiative takes place on 22 and 23 October at the Cais do Sodré, Marquês de Pombal and Jardim Zoológico metro stations. The event is promoted by the Coordenação Nacional das Políticas de Saúde Mental, under the Ministry of Health, co-created by FILROUGE, with production by Produtores Associados. More information here.
