One show and a single work, built in two distinct ballets, which reveal different ways of looking at Pessoa: the intimate restlessness, the unfolding of the self, the solitude and the multiplicity that run through his writing. Between the depth of literature and the expressiveness of dance, Desassossego invites the audience to dive into a sensory journey where thought and movement meet, giving new life to Pessoa's poetic universe through the contemporary language of the body. / 'This new creation takes the audience into the universe of ideas and infinite words. A world where imagination, consciousness, reflection, dreams, observations of everyday life and states of soul that intertwine like loose words from an inner diary reign. We dive into solitude, into the consciousness of existing and into the difficulty of finding meaning in life. A work that, like the book, aims to address the discomfort of existing in a world where one privileges imagining life instead of living it fully, where dreams can be more intense than real experience itself. 'I have in me all the dreams of the world.' A choreographic work that aims to be almost a mirror of the emotional state of the semi-heteronym Bernardo Soares: calm, dreamy, nostalgic, fragmented and restless. Elsewhere within stillness is a creation inspired by The Book of Disquiet by Fernando Pessoa and the extraordinary depth that the human mind can reach.' / Daniel Cardoso 'I look at Fernando Pessoa as a virtuoso. I see The Book of Disquiet as the reflection of someone who possesses everything within themselves and, at the same time, nothing. The constant search for validation of our own existence is something deeply connected to this work. The darkness we find in our own reflection can become inhumane, and that continuous attempt to understand who we are and what we leave behind, in a world so often empty, ends up making us find beauty in the simplest and most familiar things. / I feel this process almost like an inversion... an attempt to find Fernando in a world that slowly disappears behind us and that forces us to face a version of ourselves that perhaps only exists in that inverted place. Working on these themes with dancers makes me feel that there is no truer way to enter the parallel world into which The Book of Disquiet drags us... a space suspended between memory, absence and identity, where we are finally confronted with our collective emptiness, but also with the infinite beauty of existing.' / Marcelino Sambé / Daniel Cardoso / Choreography part I / Marcelino Sambé / Choreography part II / Various authors / Music / Hugo Franco Matos / Set design / Luísa Pacheco / Costumes / Ricardo Campos / Lighting design / To be announced / Rehearsal directors / Paula Marinho / Seamstress / CNB Sewing Atelier / Wardrobe making / Dancers of the CNB / Performance / Companhia Nacional de Bailado / Production / / Prices / Stalls A - €20 Stalls B - €18 Stalls C - €15 Stalls D - €10 / / Discounts / Fnac Card Navegante Card CNB in Family Unemployed Students Spectacle Area Groups + 10 pax Over 65 years old Under 25 years old People with Special Needs Professionals Spectacle Area
