by Lisbon Irish Session An evening of music, tradition and Irish spirit. The Lisbon Irish Session brings the tradition of Irish sessions to Casa do Fauno: informal musical gatherings where musicians come together to play traditional Irish tunes. It will be three hours of travelling through the soundscapes of Ireland, also passing through Portuguese, Galician, Scottish and Swedish tunes, in a musical gathering between long-time friends. Fiddles, concertinas, mandolins, pipes and other traditional instruments come together to bring to life the jigs, reels, polkas and hornpipes (and pints!) that are part of Ireland's extraordinary musical heritage. A session is a gathering: no stage, no distance between musicians and audience. The music happens right there, in the moment, with the energy and spontaneity that are the hallmark of the Irish tradition. Come and listen, drink, chat and let yourself be carried away by the music! Founded in 2007, this Irish traditional music session has stood the test of time and has never stopped to this day. Sláinte! 🍀

A Lisbon Irish Session traz à Casa do Fauno a tradição das irish sessions: encontros musicais informais onde músicos se juntam para tocar temas tradicionais irlandeses. Serão três horas de viagem pela paisagem sonora da Irlanda, passando também por temas portugueses, galegos, escoceses e suecos, num encontro musical entre amigos de longa data Violinos, concertinas, bandolins, gaitas e outros instrumentos tradicionais encontram-se para dar vida aos jigs, reels, polkas e hornpipes (e pints!) que fazem parte do extraordinário património musical da Irlanda. Uma session é um encontro: sem um palco ou distância entre músicos e público. A música acontece ali, no momento, com a energia e a espontaneidade próprias de uma tradição irlandesa. Venha ouvir, beber, conversar e deixar-se levar pela música! Fundada em 2007, esta session de música tradicional irlandesa aguentou o desafio do tempo e nunca parou até aos dias de hoje. Sláinte! 🍀
