Teatro Nacional D.MariaII Lisbon

A show created by artists from Lagos, Ourém and Ponte de Lima, based on texts from the Boca Aberta project, reflecting on disappearance and memory.

Full details

Synopsis Where do people, animals, feelings and things go when they disappear? To know, we would need a map showing not only visible places, but also invisible ones. Only sometimes it is best to set off without a map, so that memory and imagination can take us to the end of the story, to what was lost. In 2026, the artists from Lagos, Ourém and Ponte de Lima, who have been part of Boca Aberta since 2024, create their own shows based on the project's repertoire of texts. 'Isto é o fim?', 'Quem vai ao mar' and 'Quem espera' premiere throughout 2026 in the artists' home cities and are subsequently presented at D. Maria II, in 2027. Accessibility All sessions of this show are relaxed sessions. Session with Portuguese Sign Language interpretation and audio description on March 13. Artistic Team texts by Inês Fonseca Santos and Maria João Cruz creation Dioneia / Albardeira, Associação Cultural staging Mafalda Cardoso Pereira performance Beatriz Jacinto, Mariana Fonseca mediation and production Leonor Atalaia mentoring Aldina Jesus, Catarina Requeijo, Carla Martínez, Inês Fonseca Santos, Luís Godinho, Manuela Pedroso, Maria João Cruz, Sérgio Delgado An initiative of Teatro Nacional D. Show original (Portuguese)
