Synopsis Accessibility: Performance with Portuguese Sign Language interpretation on 20 March. Between new compositions and original arrangements for ensemble and orchestra, in his Carte Blanche at CCB, Bruno Pernadas constructs a musical and visual narrative in which video, electronics and acoustic instrumentation merge into a single theatrical device, where the performative use of the word and references to the artistic universe of Robert Rayt Ashley, David Byrne or Laurie Anderson expand a proposal that challenges aesthetic and formal boundaries. The concert also includes a tribute to José Mário Branco, evoking his passage through CCB in 1997 through a suite created from some of his most striking themes.
