Producer Flávio Miguel Patacas Serpa Unipessoal Lda Synopsis The concerts marking 50 years of Luís Represas's career were scheduled, and they will indeed take place. On April 10, 2027, at the Coliseu dos Recreios, drawing on songs under his own name and those he shared with Trovante. Because, as understood by friends, those close to him, accomplices of his journey or parts of it, partners, and those who discovered in Luís Represas a source of inspiration, these shows do not lose meaning or scope; on the contrary: the musical map remains the same, the visits will be guided by those who are determined to take up the testimony and thus respect the purpose of these nights in two magical and remarkable venues. In this way, a wish and a principle repeated many times in recent weeks are fulfilled: not to let fall silent, not to allow a singular body of work that changed and shaped the paths of Portuguese Music to be consigned to oblivion. And that signal will be given on stage, as Luís Represas would have liked. There are guarantees that can already be put forward. Notably, the production of these evenings is in the hands of Flávio Serpa, and the musical direction will be entrusted to Manuel Faria, present and active in Trovante and in Represas's solo career, with the support of Carlos Garcia, central in the singer's most recent times, and Miguel Nuñez, the Cuban pianist who also walked side by side with Luís on several occasions. As for the musicians (it is already known that the members of Trovante will not miss the call), as well as the band that currently played with Represas and the voices called to this unique challenge. The cast will be revealed soon, because it needs to maintain the criterion of integrity and the standard of excellence that Luís Represas always embodied. Everyone will certainly be more committed to doing justice and adding brilliance to the songs that have accompanied us all for 50 years, much more than to embodying "homages" or "tributes", concepts and expressions that Luís Represas himself was not very fond of. Here, it is about music, the one raised and shown by a man, or around him. Agendas remain open and alert for when the next April arrives. Without prejudice to the possibility that among the many who already had tickets purchased before July 22, and/or those who bought them after that date, some may choose possible returns and refunds, naturally guaranteed until September 5, 2026. But above all, given the availability, interest, and votes of confidence that have been received from many people, from Luís Represas's acquaintances to his faithful anonymous attendees, that does not seem to be a trend. A 10 de abril de 2027, no Coliseu dos Recreios, deitando mão às canções em nome próprio e às que dividiu com o Trovante. Porque, entenderam os amigos, os próximos, os cúmplices do percurso ou de partes dele, os parceiros e aqueles que descobriram em Luís Represas uma fonte de inspiração, que estes espetáculos não perdem sentido nem alcance, pelo contrário: o mapa musical continua a ser o mesmo, as visitas serão guiadas por aqueles que fazem questão de pegar no testemunho e, assim, respeitar o propósito destas noites em duas salas mágicas e marcantes. Concretizam-se, desta forma, um desejo e um princípio muito repetidos nas últimas semanas: o de não deixar silenciar, não permitir que se remeta para o esquecimento, uma obra singular, que mudou e moldou os caminhos da Música Portuguesa. E esse sinal será dado em palco, como Luís Represas gostaria. Há garantias que podem ser avançadas desde já. Com destaque para a produção destes serões a cargo de Flávio Serpa , e a direção musical que estará entregue a Manuel Faria , presente e ativo no Trovante e no caminho a solo de Represas, com os apoios de Carlos Garcia , nuclear nos tempos mais recentes do cantor, e de Miguel Nuñez , o pianista cubano que também andou várias vezes lado a lado com o Luís. Quanto aos músicos (sabendo-se já que os integrantes do Trovante não faltarão à chamada), bem como a banda que atualmente tocava com Represas e às vozes chamadas a este desafio único. O elenco será revelado em breve, porque precisa de manter o critério da integridade e a bitola da exigência que Luís Represas sempre personificou. Todas e todos estarão certamente mais empenhados em fazer justiça e dar brilho às canções que nos acompanham, a todos, há 50 anos , muito mais do que em corporizar “homenagens” ou “tributos”, conceitos e expressões de que o próprio Luís Represas não era grande adepto. Aqui, é de música que se trata, daquela erguida e mostrada por um homem, ou ao seu redor. Ficam as agendas abertas e alerta para quando o próximo Abril chegar. Sem prejuízo da possibilidade de entre os muitos que já tinham bilhetes comprados, antes de 22 de Julho, e/ou dos que os adquiriram já depois disso, haver quem possa optar por eventuais devoluções e reembolsos, naturalmente assegurados até ao dia 5 de setembro de 2026.
