🎤 Albaluna presents “Arena das Falas” at CriArte with protest folk rock Albaluna present Arena das Falas at CriArte, a new chapter in a career spanning 16 years devoted to the fusion of folk rock, Portuguese traditional instruments and sounds from the Mediterranean and cultures linked to the ancient Silk Road. The album keeps the Portuguese word at the centre of a songwriting marked by social commentary, protest and hope. The band returns to the album format 12 years after their first full-length and brings to Carcavelos a repertoire combining viola braguesa, sanfona, bagpipes, ney, percussion, violin, bass and drums.
