The Lisbon Film Orchestra presents the musical Come from Away, based on the true story of the small Canadian town of Gander, Newfoundland, which welcomed nearly 7,000 stranded passengers from 38 diverted planes in the week after the September 11, 2001 attacks. Directed by Pedro Pernas with musical direction by Nuno de Sá, the show features book, music and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein.

In this puppet show for ages five and up, a country rat tired of knowing his days are numbered visits his cousin in the city, discovering a world that is different, fast and bright.
