The Festival Cantabile brings chamber music to the Academia das Ciências de Lisboa on 2 October 2026, joining the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa with Cristel Lee, Alexander Chaushian and artistic director and violist Diemut Poppen. The programme includes Mozart's Symphony No. 29 and Sinfonia Concertante, plus Alexey Shor's Cello Concerto No. 1, conducted by Pedro Neves.

Part of the 27th French Cinema Festival, Ugo Bienvenu's animated film ARCO follows Íris, a 10-year-old girl who in 2075 helps Arco, a boy from a distant future where humanity lives in harmony with nature, return home while he is pursued by those who want to uncover his secret. The film premiered at Cannes and won the Cristal for Best Feature at Annecy and the César for Best Animated Film.

Casa da Praia closes the season in style at Carcavelos on September 4th, with a progression from House to Trance to Bounce courtesy of NOQIA, Sahan and Nachspielzeit, cold drinks and a sunset right on the beach — plus free sangria if you arrive before 19:30.

Part of the 27th French Cinema Festival, Mélisa Godet's drama La Maison des Femmes, inspired by the Saint-Denis health and support centre for women victims of violence, follows a team that turns care and solidarity into tools of resistance as it accompanies women rebuilding their autonomy.
