Synopsis In a small town of 900 inhabitants, a woman falls ill. "It's bad", someone says on a street corner. Aureli's text tells of the sudden illness of a woman living in that small locality near a metropolis full of factories and incinerators, where, because of the smoke, the blue of the sky can no longer be glimpsed. A story whose protagonists are illness, toxic clouds and the asbestos that threaten to destroy the life of a family, of a town, of a province, of a region, of an entire country. Set in an Italian province, one of the forty-four areas polluted beyond all legal limits, the show dives into an apparently silent society to make the hidden cries of a wounded humanity resonate. "Teoria da Bolacha" probes the invisible and its paradox. A clenched fist, full of rage and poetry, which with violent intensity makes everything crumble, leaving traces of a desperate hymn to life. Like "RESPIRAR (doze vezes)", by Marie Suel, staged in 2023, or "Na Floresta Desaparecida", by Olivier Sylvestre, staged in 2025, Daniele Aureli's text will also be published by moscaMORTA, the publishing project of teatromosca, in October 2026. Sinopse Numa pequena cidade de 900 habitantes, uma mulher adoece. “É mau”, alguém diz numa esquina. O texto de Aureli fala-nos da doença repentina de uma mulher que vive nessa pequena localidade perto de uma metrópole repleta de fábricas e incineradoras, onde, por causa do fumo, já não se consegue vislumbrar o azul do céu. Uma história que tem como protagonistas a doença, as nuvens tóxicas e o amianto que ameaçam destruir a vida de uma família, de uma cidade, de uma província, de uma região, de um país inteiro. Situado numa província italiana, uma das quarenta e quatro áreas poluídas além de todos os limites legais, o espetáculo mergulha numa sociedade aparentemente silenciosa, para fazer ressoar os gritos ocultos de uma humanidade ferida. "Teoria da Bolacha" sonda o invisível e o seu paradoxo. Um punho cerrado, cheio de raiva e poesia que, com intensidade violenta, faz desmoronar tudo, deixando vestígios de um hino desesperado à vida.
