Igre. C.S.Pedro Alcântara

An intimate concert by cellist Jasmim Mandillo and guitarist Marta Fonseca, crossing Portuguese and Brazilian music from classical to samba, with original arrangements and own compositions.

The concert Time of Music, Music of Time pays tribute to Eduardo Lourenço's poetic prose, with an instrumental programme from the late 17th and early 18th centuries performed by Occassus Ensemble. With an introduction by Paulo Pires do Vale and readings by Júlio Martín Fonseca, the recital ends with a Bach violin sonata.

A cycle of six recitals in which Artur Pizarro performs the complete Mozart piano sonatas at Convento de São Pedro de Alcântara. A rare chance to hear these works in sequence, following the order of Sequeira Costa's historic 1956 cycle.
