The concert Time of Music, Music of Time pays tribute to Eduardo Lourenço's poetic prose, with an instrumental programme from the late 17th and early 18th centuries performed by Occassus Ensemble. With an introduction by Paulo Pires do Vale and readings by Júlio Martín Fonseca, the recital ends with a Bach violin sonata.

Synopsis Within the Contratempo sub-cycle, this concert pays homage to the poetic prose of Eduardo Lourenço, pouring out music evoked by it, directly or indirectly, that crosses and dialogues with his thought, namely in his work Time of Music, Music of Time. For this concert we invite Paulo Pires do Vale to give a brief introduction to the author's aesthetic universe; Júlio Martín Fonseca to read selected excerpts; and Occassus Ensemble, responsible for the musical interpretation, creating a fabric of listening and reflection in which music and word summon each other. This concert explores instrumental music of the late 17th and early 18th centuries, centred on the intimate dialogue between violin and basso continuo.
