Teatro Experimental de Cascais presents the 11th edition of mostra_T, a young theatre festival with 8 productions by current and former students of the EPTC and other schools, running from 8 September to 3 October with several world premieres and two performances per group.

Brief introduction Teatro Experimental de Cascais gives voice and space to experimentalism, with a diverse programme of shows featuring many young artists, in a festival format. Synopsis mostra_T was born eleven years ago out of TEC's need to respond to the many requests for a slot that reached us throughout the year. We noticed that the largest share of these requests came from newly formed groups of former students of the Escola Profissional de Teatro de Cascais, so we decided to bring them together and create a young theatre showcase, in which one of the key participation criteria would be to include students or former students of the EPTC in the show. It has been a success and, as such, we continue the project, opening up space to students from other schools and to other experiences. mostra_T includes 8 participating productions, some of them world premieres. This year it runs from 8 September to 3 October and each group will present two sessions. Breve Introdução O Teatro Experimental de Cascais dá voz e espaço ao experimentalismo, numa oferta de espetáculos diversificados e com muitos artistas jovens, num formato de festival. Sinopse O mostra_T nasceu há onze anos da necessidade do TEC em dar resposta a inúmeros pedidos de acolhimento que nos chegavam ao longo do ano. Constatámos que a maior percentagem desses pedidos era feita por grupos recém-formados de ex-alunos da Escola Profissional de Teatro de Cascais, pelo que resolvemos juntá-los e criar uma mostra de teatro jovem, em que um dos critérios fulcrais de participação seria incluir no espetáculo alunos ou ex-alunos da EPTC. Tem sido um sucesso e como tal, continuamos o projeto, abrindo espaço a alunos provenientes de outras escolas e a outras experiências. A mostra_T inclui 8 produções participantes, algumas delas sendo estreias absolutas. Este ano decorrerá entre 8 de setembro e 3 de outubro e cada grupo apresentará duas sessões.
