Brief Introduction DATES 21 February; 21 March; 11 April; 23 May; 27 June; 18 July; 22 August; 19 September; 24 October, 21 November; 19 December DURATION 60' TARGET AUDIENCE M/ 16 years [indicative age] PARTICIPANTS Min. 5 Throughout the year, numerous traditional festivals and rituals of a religious nature, of great social and cultural importance, take place in Japan. With solemn ceremonial moments and others of pure fun, they originate mainly in Shintoism - the ancient cult of the kami spirits - to which Buddhist practices were added. The exhibition Japão: Festas e Rituais reveals these celebrations and their role in Japanese society, as axes of identity and community building, of their conception of the world and of the forces that move it. In case of withdrawal: The full registration fee will be refunded when the withdrawal is communicated up to 8 working days before the activity. After that date, the refund can only be considered if the place is filled or in situations of illness, accident, or other unforeseeable circumstances of force majeure, duly proven. Com momentos cerimoniais solenes e outros de puro divertimento, têm origem sobretudo no Xintoísmo - antigo culto dos espíritos kami , a que se juntaram práticas do Budismo. A exposição Japão: Festas e Rituais dá a conhecer estas celebrações e o seu papel na sociedade japonesa, como eixos de construção de identidade e comunidade, da sua concepção do mundo e das forças que o movem.
