Silk Nobre was born in Mozambique, has Cape Verdean roots and grew up in Portugal. She moves between music, theatre and performance, always with the word at the center. “Em Obras” is her new EP and speaks of an old house, full of stories and in need of some care. Each song is a room in that house: a memory, a scar, a childhood smell. She has been part of projects such as Shout, Funky Messengers, Mister Lyzard, Funk do Boi and Cais do Sodré Funk Connection. In 2023 she released her first album, “Diz À Mãe Que Está Tudo Bem!”, where rhythm and message go hand in hand.
