We have been missing the Bernardices of our executive chef Bernardo Agrela. The next one is already on 4 November, and it takes us on a journey along our coastline without leaving our seats, with chef Joana Duarte at the helm. With a background in Marine Biology and 18 years of experience in fine dining and Michelin-starred kitchens, the founder of the Rota das Algas project brings us a dinner focused on celebrating Portuguese macroalgae and our coastal heritage. The result is a six-course tasting menu that travels along the country's coast, from Minho to the Algarve and the Azores. From the seaweed butter and sea truffle olive oil in the couvert to the dishes that combine local ingredients with sea fava, wakame, nori, codium and dulse, nothing has been left to chance. This experience, which combines ocean literacy and haute gastronomy, costs €25 per person, VAT included and drinks not included. The gathering is set for 7 pm, on the First Floor of Casa Capitão. Seats are limited, so the best thing is to reserve your place at the TABLE, through the UMAI platform.
