On 25 and 26 September 2026, Rádio Quântica presents the 6th edition of its community festival Ano Q at Galeria Zé dos Bois, celebrating Portuguese sonic scenes with emerging and underrepresented artists.

On 25 and 26 September 2026, Rádio Quântica presents the 6th edition of its non-profit community festival, Ano Q. Over two days, in a historic Lisbon venue (Galeria Zé dos Bois), this event celebrates some of the most intriguing sonic iterations of the Portuguese scene, with emerging artists and artists from typically marginalized communities alongside pioneering but underrepresented artists. ANO Q 2026 brings together a diverse selection of artistic projects that challenge the boundaries of the mainstream through their practice. The festival's cultural programme represents a direct resistance to profit-based events; we seek to offer an alternative to the mainstream of an increasingly gentrified Lisbon, where a polished cultural standardization imposed from above or from outside has become the norm.
