Guided visits to Pedro Cabrita Reis's exhibition 'com o coração livre de cuidados' (with a heart free of cares), which brings together some two hundred unpublished works spanning painting, drawing, collage and sculpture. Led by a mediator who contextualises the works and encourages open dialogue, the 60-minute tours take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 10.30, meeting at the MAAT Central ticket office.

The Pedro Cabrita Reis exhibition, 'com o coração livre de cuidados', brings together some two hundred unpublished works exploring languages such as painting, drawing, collage and sculpture. With strong references to the tradition of Western painting (between the Renaissance and modernism), these are works in which the artist deepens his ever-present themes: architecture and its ruin, nature (understood as scenography), the body and its eroticism, history as fascination and subversion. Recognised as one of the major figures of European contemporary art, Pedro Cabrita Reis continues to establish himself as one of the most influential and consistent artists of recent decades. The guided visits to MAAT's temporary exhibitions aim to be an informal space for experimentation, promoting knowledge and dialogue in a shared responsibility, inviting visitors to take on an active role.
