Lisbon City Council celebrates 40 years of the paving artisans' and gardening schools with an exhibition tracing four decades of training, inclusion and the work that shapes the city's calçada and gardens every day.

The exhibition Timeline – 40 Years of the Paving Artisans' and Gardening Schools, presented by the Lisbon City Council, spans four decades of training, practice and commitment to public space. Through teaching, internships, projects and environmental awareness initiatives, it reveals continuous work in qualifying professionals and in valuing the Portuguese pavement (Calçada Portuguesa) and the city's gardens. More than schools, these spaces have established themselves as places of inclusion and learning at each person's own pace, promoting equal opportunities. Since 1986, they have also been opening up to the community, with initiatives accessible to the public. The exhibition celebrates this journey and clearly and visually showcases the impact of work that shapes Lisbon every day. ARV. Monday to Sunday, from 6:30 am to 10 pm.
