Art in the Square stands out as the city's only street fair, with a strict and exclusive focus on promoting independent visual arts. An open-air exhibition and an independent art market. Unlike traditional craft or flea markets, this project maintains a strict and exclusive focus on the visual arts (painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture and author ceramics). With no resales and no intermediaries, the event promotes direct contact between the public and the creators, functioning as an extension of the creators' own studios and an accessible showcase for the city's contemporary artistic production. A living community in the heart of Cais do Sodré. The fair revitalizes Praça de São Paulo every Sunday, standing out as the only fair in the city with an exclusive focus on visual arts. The event brings together painters, illustrators, photographers and local artists to exhibit and sell original works, promoting direct contact between creators and the public in an outdoor setting. Location: Praça de São Paulo. Summer hours: 10h to 19h. Winter hours: 10h to 18h. The fair does not take place in adverse weather conditions (rain). Free.
