ARV hosts an anthological exhibition dedicated to Paulo Bruscky, pioneer of conceptual art in Brazil, tracing his exploration since the 1970s of the relations between art, communication and technology, curated by Natxo Checa.

This anthological exhibition dedicated to Paulo Bruscky (b. 1949, Recife, Brazil) proposes a comprehensive reading of the career of one of the pioneers of conceptual art in Brazil. Since the 1970s, the artist has been exploring the relations between art, communication and technology, crossing languages such as visual and sound poetry, performance, mail art and new media. The core Bruscky em Brusque, begun in the 1980s, exemplifies his singular approach: from the coincidence between names, the artist builds a set of works that link chance and logic, transforming the everyday into poetic and critical matter. Curated by Natxo Checa, the exhibition reveals a deeply semiotic practice, where the unexpected becomes the engine of creation. ARV. Monday to Saturday, from 18 to 22h.
