A guided tour of Casa dos Bicos with a Portuguese Sign Language interpreter, exploring over 2000 years of history, from Roman remains to medieval and modern Lisbon.

Brief Introduction In this visit we will travel in time to learn about the different lives of Casa dos Bicos and the rich historical and archaeological heritage preserved in this unique space in Lisbon. Synopsis Built between 1521 and 1523 by Brás de Albuquerque, Casa dos Bicos is an icon of 16th-century civil architecture. However, its archaeological core reveals a much older history. Roman remains, such as fish processing factories and defensive walls, mix with traces of medieval and modern Lisbon, testifying to over 2000 years of evolution. In this visit, a Portuguese Sign Language interpreter joins the Museum's mediation team to foster conditions for full enjoyment of the heritage. Prices General - €5
