MUDE, the Design Museum housed in the former BNU building in Lisbon's Baixa Pombalina, presents its design collection in a long-term display alongside temporary exhibitions, with a combined ticket giving access to all the shows on view.

Synopsis Due to maintenance work in the museum space, online sales are suspended from 7 July 2026 to 19 July 2026. However, tickets can be purchased at the on-site box office. MUDE, the Design Museum, is a museum of the Lisbon City Council established in 2006. Dedicated to all expressions of design, the collection currently comprises 35,000 inventory entries, organised into 24 collections and 6 clusters (Stage; Editorial; Graphic; Contemporary Jewellery; Fashion; Product, including Interiors). The museum occupies the entire block of the former headquarters of Banco Nacional Ultramarino (BNU), bounded by Rua Augusta, Rua da Prata, Rua de São Julião and Rua do Comércio. In the heart of the Baixa Pombalina, the historic centre rebuilt from the Marquis of Pombal's plan after the 1755 earthquake, MUDE has 8 floors and a total area of almost 14,000 m2, with five galleries for displaying the museum's collection and presenting temporary exhibitions, and spaces for education, research, study, debate, creation, socialising and leisure. Its full reopening in 2024 also contributed to the cultural and identity revitalisation of central Lisbon. The combined ticket allows you to visit all the exhibitions on display.
