This anthological exhibition devoted to Paulo Bruscky, a pioneer of conceptual art in Brazil, surveys his work since the 1970s, crossing visual and sound poetry, performance, mail art and new media. Curated by Natxo Checa, it includes the 'Bruscky em Brusque' nucleus, where chance and logic turn everyday life into poetic and critical matter.

This anthological exhibition dedicated to Paulo Bruscky (b. 1949, Recife, Brazil) proposes a comprehensive reading of the trajectory of one of the pioneers of conceptual art in Brazil. Since the 1970s, the artist has been exploring the relationships between art, communication and technology, crossing languages such as visual and sound poetry, performance, mail art and new media. The Bruscky em Brusque nucleus, begun in the 1980s, exemplifies his singular approach: from the coincidence between names, the artist constructs a set of works that link chance and logic, transforming everyday life into poetic and critical matter. Curated by Natxo Checa, the exhibition reveals a deeply semiotic practice, where the unexpected becomes a driver of creation. ARV. Monday to Saturday, from 18h to 22h.
