The Skin of the Invisible: Workshop with Iris Buccholz Chocolate

Thursday 5 November – Friday 6 November

Pavilhão Julião Sarmento, Lisbon

Brief Introduction A Pele do Invisível proposes the analysis of the theme of the exhibition through artistic creation and interactive games dedicated mainly to a young audience. It addresses, among other themes, cultural identity, slavery, colonialism, genocide, ancestors, migration and transgenerational traumas, through educational material that promotes the understanding of these concepts through the contextualisation of the exhibited works and the carrying out of exercises related to them. In its exercises, the programme offers a philosophical and didactic component, featuring drawing, reflection and writing activities that can also encompass adults.
