This exhibition honors the firefighters of the municipality of Cascais, revisiting their history since 1888 through pieces from public and private collections, highlighting courage, solidarity and dedication to the community.

The firefighters of the municipality of Cascais, driven by a deep sense of mission, have adapted to the challenges of the times since the distant year of 1888. Their memory is preserved in pieces from public and private collections presented in this exhibition dedicated to the history of the five active corporations in the municipality. Thus, the exhibition Soldiers of Peace is dedicated to the Firefighters of Cascais, Carcavelos and S. Domingos de Rana, Estoril, Parede and Alcabideche, revisiting the main moments of a history marked by courage, solidarity, dedication to the community and the ability to overcome of these our heroes!
