The Cascais Symphony Orchestra opens its doors to students from the Conservatório de Cascais and Slovak Erasmus students in a pedagogical concert at Auditório Senhora da Boa Nova. The programme includes Britten's work, in the year marking the 50th anniversary of his death, and features a young soloist.

The concert 'A Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra' by the Cascais Symphony Orchestra focuses on future generations. On 10 October at 5 pm, at Auditório Senhora da Boa Nova, Estoril, attend a moment of great pedagogical importance. The Symphony opens its doors to students who studied at the Conservatório de Cascais and to students from the Slovak Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Art, Jána Levoslava Bellu, currently Erasmus students at the local conservatory, placing them to play alongside the principal members of the orchestra. The repertoire has a pedagogical character, bringing together works that attract families and young people of various ages, with special emphasis on Britten's magnificent work, in the year marking the 50th anniversary of his death. This piece presents itself as an open lesson on the composition of a symphony orchestra.
