Synopsis GNR mark more than three decades of In Vivo, one of the most remarkable albums of their career. By Toli César Machado, Rui Reininho and Jorge Romão, GNR close 2026 with special concerts: a celebration of the legacy of In Vivo, the iconic double album released in 1990, the band's first live album and one of the biggest sales successes of Portuguese music. In these concerts, GNR promise to revive the contagious energy and unique atmosphere that distinguish them in these intense 46 years of career. Originally released by EMI, Valentim de Carvalho, In Vivo captured the electrifying force of GNR on the historic nights of 30 April and 1 May 1990, at the Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon. Based on the acclaimed album Valsa dos Detectives, the line-up of the time joined the group's great hits with remarkable interpretations of international classics such as Runaway (by Del Shannon) and an excerpt from Apache (by The Shadows) in the track Hardcore. With a legendary career that culminated in the award of the Platinum Disc, the work also became associated with the collective memory of the edition that included the timeless Homens Temporariamente Sós. More than a journey through time, these shows celebrate the complicity of generations with GNR, in a line-up designed to honour the vibrant repertoire of an album that defined an era and continues to gain fans.
