Trumpeter and composer Laurent Filipe, strongly influenced by Miles Davis, marks the centenary of the jazz genius's birth with a tribute concert at the Coliseu Club — a commented journey through the life and work of Miles, joined by Mário Delgado, Alexandre Frazão, Massimo Cavalli and Pedro Lopes.

Synopsis 100 Years of Miles, the Tribute 2026 marks 100 years since the birth of Miles Davis, a genius who spearheaded no fewer than five movements in the history of jazz and modern music, and whose legacy has marked and influenced generations. Trumpeter and composer Laurent Filipe revisits key moments from Miles's career and repertoire in a tribute concert that is a journey through the life and work of Miles Davis — commented, informative and captivating. A trumpeter and composer with a career spanning more than forty years, Laurent Filipe was strongly influenced by Miles Davis.
