The Christmas Circus returns to Coliseu dos Recreios to honour Lisbon's oldest festive tradition: bringing whole families together around a show that crosses generations and stays in everyone’s memory, from the youngest to the oldest. Under the dome that has seen more than a century of artists pass through, acrobats, tightrope walkers, jugglers and clowns arrive from different parts of the world in a new programme designed to surprise first-timers and move those who grew up watching the circus in this very place.
