An exhibition of paintings created by students of the +65 program, celebrating active aging and continuous learning through art.

The exhibition brings together a set of works created by students of the painting classes of the +65 program, promoted by the Union of Parishes of Carcavelos and Parede and developed at ARIM - Association of Retirees and Elderly of Murtal. Since 2023, under the guidance of teacher Daniel Lorena, participants have been developing skills in drawing and painting, exploring different techniques and discovering increasingly personal forms of artistic expression. The works now presented reflect this learning journey, marked by dedication, creativity and the pleasure of creating. Each painting translates a unique perspective, revealing that art is a space for discovery, growth and sharing at any stage of life. Integrated into the celebrations of the International Day of Older Persons (October 1) and World Senior Citizens Day (October 28), this exhibition celebrates not only the talent and commitment of its authors, but also the value of continuous learning, active aging and culture as a factor of personal and community enrichment.
