The session will be conducted in English. Dasik miniature cakes are a Korean specialty. This variety of snack accompanies tea, enhancing the flavor and aroma of the drink to enrich the experience. With origins dating back to the Goryeo dynasty (918-1392), they were served in rituals or at the Royal tea ceremony. In the past, the patterns of the dasik pan (traditional mold that shapes the dasik) were chosen according to the occasion, and included characters, animals, plants, abstract or geometric designs, each with its own meaning. Today, this diversity remains, with aesthetically appealing designs. In this workshop we will make three dasiks and taste them, accompanied by tea and poems. Program 1. Prepare the dough, gluten-free and vegan, using powdered ingredients, soy, chestnuts, mung beans, black sesame, honey, rice syrup, cinnamon 2. Knead the ingredients to make the mixture 3. Press the dough using the traditional Dasik pan (???) in wood, engraved with Korean patterns Three dasiks will be pressed in traditional size, with different designs 4.
