As part of the exhibition "VENUS - Valentino Garavani through the eyes of Joana Vasconcelos", A Avó Veio Trabalhar leads a wool embroidery workshop at MAAT where the grandmothers' know-how meets contemporary creation. Each participant receives a small woollen textile piece as the starting point to explore stitches, textures and colours and create a unique piece.

Brief Introduction As part of the exhibition "VENUS - Valentino Garavani through the eyes of Joana Vasconcelos" Conceived and led by: A Avó Veio Trabalhar As part of the exhibition "VENUS, Valentino Garavani through the eyes of Joana Vasconcelos", A Avó Veio Trabalhar proposes a wool embroidery workshop, where the grandmothers' know-how meets contemporary creation. Each participant will receive a small woollen textile piece, which will be the starting point for experimenting with different stitches, textures, colours and shapes. Accompanied by the Grandmothers, participants will be invited to explore the embroidery technique and create a unique piece, in a moment of sharing, learning and creativity.
