The Ano Q 2026 Festival, organized by Rádio Quântica, takes place on September 25 and 26 at Galeria Zé dos Bois, celebrating innovative sounds from the Portuguese scene with emerging and underrepresented artists, as an alternative to the mainstream.

On September 25 and 26, 2026, Rádio Quântica presents the 6th edition of its non-profit community festival, Ano Q. Over two days, in a historic space in Lisbon (Galeria Zé dos Bois), this event celebrates some of the most intriguing sound iterations of the Portuguese scene, with emerging artists and artists from typically marginalized communities alongside pioneering but underrepresented artists. ANO Q 2026 brings together a diverse selection of artistic projects that challenge the boundaries of the mainstream through their practice. The cultural program of this festival represents direct resistance to profit-based events, we seek to offer an alternative to the mainstream of an increasingly gentrified Lisbon, where a polished cultural standardization imposed from above or outside has become the norm.
