The 10th edition of the event is now taking concrete shape with the announcement of the first round of lineup confirmations, which includes one headliner, two co-headliners and a set of names that reinforce the unique identity of a festival that has become a mandatory stop for all fans of music painted in very dark shades of grey. A second wave of confirmations will be revealed in April, completing the lineup. An unavoidable reference in European melodic doom/death metal, the Scandinavian collective is preparing to present a show marked by that long-awaited reunion and by a repertoire that crosses different phases of their discography, now renewed by new material. In their absolute debut in Portugal, North Americans Evoken (Official) will lead one of the most eagerly awaited moments of this UNDER THE DOOM edition. A huge cult act in the hermetic universe of funeral doom, the musicians bring for the first time to the national audience their austere and deeply atmospheric approach, built over decades of artistic consistency. Also worthy of prominent status, Schammasch present an exclusive concert dedicated to the 10th anniversary of «Triangle», with the album being performed in full and complemented by other standout songs from the Swiss band's career, in a show designed specifically for this celebration. The first wave of confirmations also includes the legendary Liv Kristine, who returns to the stage with a new band and a new album to present, once again reinforcing her unique path within gothic and atmospheric music. On the national scene, Atone, Doom Metal and ANZV stand out: the former, formed by former members of DESIRE, VS777 and other notable projects in the Portuguese underground, mark at this festival their absolute debut and their only live performance of 2026, while the latter present a new album and also play their only concert in Lisbon that year. Finally, a decade after their previous appearance at the event, Belgians MARCHE FUNEBRE return to UNDER THE DOOM with a new LP in tow, deepening the relationship built with the event's audience.
