Synopsis This program proposes a listening of the sound and devotional universe of the Passion of Christ, as we can imagine it in the context of the 16th-century Portuguese Royal Chapel: at the center, the Chyrios das Trevas, the oldest polyphonic work with unequivocal origin in the Portuguese Royal Chapel (c. 1500), preserved as an appendix to a Cerimonial da Capela Real once belonging to Infanta D. Maria and now kept in the National Library of Naples. In dialogue with this central work, Iberian motets will be heard, opening a complementary view on the circulation of repertoires through manuscript sources, such as CIC 60 from the National Library of Lisbon. The concert takes place in a reduced lighting environment that evokes the liturgy of the shadows of the Easter Triduum. Sinopse Este programa propõe uma escuta do universo sonoro e devocional da Paixão de Cristo, tal como podemos imaginá-lo no contexto da Capela Real Portuguesa do século XVI: no centro, os Chyrios das Trevas , a mais antiga obra polifónica com origem inequívoca na Capela Real portuguesa (c. 1500), preservado como apêndice de um Cerimonial da Capela Real outrora pertencente à Infanta D. Maria e hoje guardado na Biblioteca Nacional de Nápoles. Em diálogo com esta obra central, escutar-se-ão motetes ibéricos, abrindo um olhar complementar sobre a circulação de repertórios através de fontes manuscritas, como o CIC 60 da Biblioteca Nacional de Lisboa. O concerto decorre num ambiente de iluminação reduzida que evoca a liturgia das trevas do Tríduo Pascal.
