Pernambuco-born Almério brings his latest album, 'Nesse Exato Momento', to Casa Capitão, updating Northeastern Brazilian tradition with a contemporary MPB approach. The concert is standing-room only, so arriving early is recommended.

Pernambuco-born Almério is one of the most singular names in current Brazilian music. Known for his strong stage presence and the intensity of his singing, he won the Brazilian Music Award in 2018 in the New Artist category and was nominated for a Latin Grammy the following year. On 24 October, he brings to Casa Capitão his latest album, 'Nesse Exato Momento' (2024), in which he continues to update the musical tradition of Brazil's Northeast, adding a contemporary approach to MPB. There are no seated or reserved places at Casa Capitão concerts. To guarantee a good position facing the stage, it is best to arrive early. And be ready to spend one or two hours standing.

O pernambucano Almério é um dos mais singulares nomes da música brasileira atual. Reconhecido pela forte presença em palco e pela intensidade do seu canto, venceu o Prémio da Música Brasileira em 2018, na categoria Revelação, e foi nomeado para um Grammy Latino no ano seguinte. Dia 24 de outubro, traz à Casa Capitão o último álbum, “Nesse Exato Momento” (2024), em que continua a atualizar a tradição musical nordestina, juntando-lhe uma abordagem contemporânea à mpb. Não há lugares sentados, nem marcados, nos concertos da Casa Capitão. Para garantir uma boa posição face ao palco, convém chegar cedo. E pronto para passar uma ou duas horas em pé.
