The inaugural session of this second edition of the programme is dedicated to the story of Luzia Pinta. Synopsis The case against Luzia Pinta, a Black woman from Angola enslaved in colonial Brazil, is emblematic of the complex intersections between racialisation, gender and religion in the Americas.
