On December 1, Saint Levant finally makes his debut in Portugal with a concert at Lisboa Ao Vivo, as part of the Layali Al Afandi tour. Marwan Abdelhamid, known artistically as Saint Levant, was born in Jerusalem to a Franco-Algerian mother and a Serbian-Palestinian father, and spent seven formative years of his childhood in Gaza, an experience that would later inspire his debut EP, From Gaza, With Love. Drawing on his origins and combining influences of traditional Arabic music with R&B and hip-hop, Saint Levant embraces the plurality of his own cultural heritage, of the Arab community spread across the world and of the Palestinian struggle in the diaspora. A 1 de dezembro, Saint Levant estreia-se finalmente em Portugal com um concerto no Lisboa Ao Vivo, integrado na digressão Layali Al Afandi. Marwan Abdelhamid, conhecido artisticamente como Saint Levant, nasceu em Jerusalém, filho de uma mãe franco-argelina e de um pai sérvio-palestiniano, e passou sete anos marcantes da sua infância em Gaza, uma experiência que viria mais tarde a inspirar o seu EP de estreia, From Gaza, With Love.
