Brief Introduction The Museu de Lisboa - Palácio Pimenta is home to countless plants and animals, and all these beings play a fundamental role in the life of the gardens of this space. Worms, for example, work hard to transform food waste into compost, delicious food that feeds the gardens' flora. This workshop follows the composting process, in a visit that starts at the Palácio Pimenta composting station and challenges the whole family to roll up their sleeves to maintain it. This activity highlights the ecological relevance of composting, the agents involved in it and its role in the life cycle of the gardens. Breve Introdução No Museu de Lisboa - Palácio Pimenta habitam inúmeras plantas e animais e todos estes seres desempenham um papel fundamental na vida dos jardins deste espaço. As minhocas, por exemplo, trabalham arduamente para transformar os resíduos alimentares em composto, comida deliciosa que alimenta a flora dos jardins. Esta oficina acompanha o processo de compostagem, numa visita que começa na estação de compostagem do Palácio Pimenta e desafia toda a família a arregaçar as mangas para a manter. Esta atividade evidencia a relevância ecológica da compostagem, os agentes nela envolvidos e o seu papel no ciclo de vida dos jardins.
