NEVERMORE return to Portugal with Rivers of Nihil and URNE. One of metal's most awaited comebacks finally arrives in Portugal. On 22 May 2027, NEVERMORE take the stage at República da Música in Lisbon as part of the 'Liminal Spaces European Tour 2027', joined by Rivers of Nihil and URNE on a heavyweight bill. After years away, Nevermore returned to European stages in 2026 and the response could not have been more emphatic: from sold-out festivals to recent shows alongside Judas Priest, thousands of fans once again sang songs that for a long time seemed destined to live only in memory. That comeback now opens a new chapter, with an extensive European headline tour in spring 2027. Once again led by Jeff Loomis and Van Williams, joined by Berzan Önen on vocals, Jack Cattoi on guitar and Semir Özerkan on bass, Nevermore reclaim a legacy that made the band one of the most singular voices in modern metal. Albums such as Dead Heart in a Dead World and This Godless Endeavor remain essential references of a discography marked by virtuosity, weight, emotional intensity and an instantly recognisable identity. But this return does not live on the past alone. Nevermore are also working on a new album, and the band themselves have left open the possibility that some of these new songs may already feature in the shows of the Liminal Spaces Tour. Making the night even more special will be Rivers of Nihil, as special guests. One of the reference names in contemporary progressive death metal, the American band returns to Portugal at a renewed stage of their career, bringing a singular combination of weight, technique and experimentation.
