Belgian-Cameroonian singer and songwriter Lubiana, through her singular voice and the kora – a West African instrument that she is one of the few women in the world to play – crosses ancestral African traditions with soul, folk and pop, in a unique and deeply spiritual journey of reconnection with African roots, the sacred feminine and the Earth. In 2025, she opened for Shawn Mendes, performed with Alicia Keys in Jamaica and joined the collective LAMOMALI, alongside -M- and Fatoumata Diawara. She also collaborated with Gaël Faye and Melody Gardot. After Terre Rouge (2024), Lubiana now presents Mother Earth, released in April 2026, a project dedicated to the deep connection of the feminine to Mother Nature. There are no seated or assigned places at Casa Capitão concerts. To ensure a good position in front of the stage, it is advisable to arrive early. And be prepared to spend one or two hours standing.
