Born into a lineage of samurai and a member of the family that owned the world's largest instrument factory, his path was marked by a late discovery of the violin, by his time in Berlin, by his friendship with Einstein and by the formulation of the 'mother tongue' principle. This concert celebrates a legacy that combines discipline, listening and affection, revealing music as a language of formation, sharing and growth. Between tradition and innovation, this concert promotes an immersive experience, capable of transforming performers and audiences on both sides of the stage.

The name Gandarva evokes the gandharvas, the celestial musicians of the Vedic tradition, beings associated with music, beauty and the arts. At Casa do Fauno, Gandarva bring guitar, concertina and violin for a journey through the melodies and rhythms of European folk traditions.
