Full details

Synopsis Petra, a young artist, has never known her father. When her mother dies, she throws herself into a search that will lead her to Jaume, a famous, powerful and ruthless visual artist. He agrees to welcome Petra into an artistic residency in his studio, somewhere on the outskirts of Girona. On her path to discovering the truth, Petra also meets Lucas, Jaume's son, and Marisa, Jaume's wife and Lucas's mother. Hoping to obtain answers, the young woman draws closer to this family, where family secrets and violence prevail. Will Petra find what she was looking for? Additional Notes Co-programming with the Cineclube de Sintra. The Cineclube de Sintra was born from the wish of a group of friends to bring regular and accessible film screenings to different venues across the municipality, with careful and diverse curation. More than showing films, we create community: spaces for conversation and sharing around the magic of the big screen, bringing together people of different ages, ideas and life experiences. Show original (Portuguese)
